Asmaa Chaudhry, MD FAAD
Dr. Asmaa Chaudhry is a native of Georgia and moved to Virginia in 2006. In Georgia, she graduated top of her high school class, after which she was awarded the highly coveted Presidential Scholarship for her undergraduate studies. She subsequently graduated with the highest distinction of summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree from Georgia State University. She earned her medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia, then completed her internship in Internal Medicine at Virginia Commonwealth University. She went on to complete her dermatology residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia and attained board-certification in dermatology.
In addition to her passion for treating skin disease. Dr. Chaudhry is a skilled and prolific scientific author, with publications in top peer-reviewed dermatology journals. She has presented her work at the local, state, and national level, and has received accolades for her research in the field of dermatology. Dr. Chaudhry practices general, pediatric, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. A mother of three who is also fluent in Urdu, Hindi, and Punjabi, she strives to put all patients at ease and enjoys sharing her knowledge and passion for medical skincare.
She is honored to live in the community she serves, and in her spare time, loves to have adventures with her husband and three children.

Josette McMichael, MD FAAD
Dr. Josette McMichael is a board-certified dermatologist. She was born and raised in Maryland where she received her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry. She first moved to Virginia in 1990 for medical school at the University of Virginia, followed by completing a family medicine residency also at UVA. She then worked in private practice and served overseas as a medical consultant before completing her dermatology residency at Emory University in Atlanta.
Following residency, Dr. McMichael became adjunct assistant professor of dermatology at Emory University and served as dermatology faculty at university teaching hospitals in Central Asia and Africa for five years. She has authored many publications in top peer-reviewed journals (link). More recently, Dr. McMichael worked in South Georgia at a hospital-owned dermatology practice. She joined Stoneridge Dermatology when she and her husband moved back to Virginia in 2021 to be closer to family.
Dr. McMichael holds a Master of Public Health from Johns Hopkins University. She is the founder of DermAlive (link), a nonprofit organization that supports dermatology education and clinical training in underserved communities, and she also shares educational content as @globaldermie on Instagram.
Dr. McMichael specializes in the full spectrum of dermatologic care involving skin, hair, and nail disorders. She enjoys taking care of patients of all ages. Languages: native English and professional working proficiency in Dari.
Outside of medicine, she enjoys spending time with her husband and family, traveling, and exploring new places.
